Drop offs

Food scraps and compost, are now being accepted for drop off at 265 state st, Belchertown, MA. Compost will  be used to help feed the vegetables andd fruit plants being grown this spring, and sustain healthy productive soils on the farm. Food scraps go towards feeding my chickens and ducks to cut down on the costs of caring for them, so I can continue to offer fresh tasty eggs for anyone who needs them
The following items are accepted for livestock feed and compost.

    bread/baked goods
    Moldy fruits/vegetables
    expired canned goods
    expired dairy products, (milk, cheese, yogurt, ect)
    Fruit/veggie peels and scraps
    Non meat table scraps
    Animal manure
    Yard waste
    Grass clippings/garden weeds
    Garden plants gone by

Animal feed

If you're  donating more the a small trash bag's worth of stuff are a resturant, local cafe or other food service buisiness, looking to donate compost and/or animal scraps, please call/text 508-653-6451 or email mendonmassfarm1@gmail.com, to scedule a drop off scedule. 

Manure

Manure drop offs and done by appointment only, due to limited space at this time. Please call 508-654-6451 or email mendonmassfarm1@gmail.com to set up an appointment. If you're a local farm/livestock owner looking to drop off manure on a regular basis please let me know and I can set up a weekly/monthly drop off scedule for you

Leaves/yard waste

Leaves and yard waste are available for drop off anytime. Please make sure any bagged leaves are in compostable bags before droopping off.
