Welcome to Mendon Co-op
Mendon farm is a small 2 acre homestead located at 45 North Ave, Mendon ma. I offer farm and garden sitting to anyone looking for help with taking care of their livestock and plants, wether it be to get away for a few days or have an extra pair of hands on site to help lessen the load. Starting next year I'll also be offering compost, wood chips, leaf mulch, and composted animal manure for sale, which can be picked up by appointment. Compost, yard waste, wood chips, and animal manure can also be dropped off at the farm anytime, (for larger loads please make an appointment), which will be either used on my own garden or offered for sale once composted down enough.
Hystory of the property

The original farm, (Torry Homestead), was founded in 1725 by William Torry, who built the house on site. The original homestead spanned all the way from the center of Mendon, Ma to the center of Upton Ma, and was divided at some point over the years. While I'm still not fully clear on some of the details, I do know at some point during the 1800s it was a dauiry farm, and also served as a chicken farm for a bit. There's not much left of the original homestead other then the house which still stands on 2 acres of the original Torry homestead's land, that has been restored to host a new homestead, Mendon Farm.
